The major responsibilities

Undertaking the audit for ESS manufacturing audit (battery cell, module, switch gear and ESS) and deliver technical due diligence reports. Has the ability to

lead the factory technical and quality audit in deep level

create audit checklist for different kinds of ESS

give other colleagues the internal training of ESS knowledge

Overall project management and technical support, project management for clients, collect and review project requirement documents prior to production, create the QA requirement for QC engineer and manufacturer. Monitor the status of manufacturing process, prepare or review the summary report.

Conduct factory QA work including

Manufacturing process oversight by supervising the production facility and IQC, manufacturing, quality control process as well as records, etc. Write the daily report and take instant action in case of any abnormality.

Pre-shipment inspection, select samples by customer requirement or international standard, do inspection per the contracted criteria. Report the inspection result in time and write the inspection report.

Prepare the daily Quality Assurance report and batch summary reports.

Conduct the product build witnessing by reviewing raw materials information, manufacturing processes and selecting samples, prepare the witness report.

Manage relationships with manufacturers and third-party service providers.

Review the technical documents and provide the recommendation for customer. Manage relationships with manufacturers and third-party service providers.

The goals of this position are to:

Provide a professional manufacturer auditing and quality assurance service that is recognized by clients

Secure quality assured Battery cell, module, switch gear, ESS and other products for our clients

Create a strong portfolio of qualified manufacturers driven by client needs

Create job-related reports for customers

Qualifications and Experience

A university level degree is preferred, preferably engineering or science based.

Minimum 5 years experience in the battery manufacturing industry is essential. (ESS (cells, modules, switch gear and containers for ESS product) experience in production line previously is MUST. It is preferred if you have also experience of PV module and inverter).

Good understanding on industrial common standards including ISO9001, ISO14001, IEC+ UL standards (UL 9540 and/or 9540A, UL 1973 and UL 1642) preferred.

A strong ability to manage manufacturers without being influenced by them.

Good knowledge of ESS manufacturers, products, processes and quality methodologies

Basic understanding and experience with commercial business processes

Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential including listening, speaking, writing and reading.
