Responsibilities and duties :

1. Participate in the implementation of Improvement Plans for the Water-related Processes, and other facilities such as crystallization/evaporation process and Zero liquid discharge

2. Undertake on-site analysis of operation performance and process optimization for all the Water-related Processes and other facilities.

3. Produce and provide daily advisory support to Operation Manager and Executive Management for the achievement of the optimum process performance and compliance with the water quality discharge standards.

4. Support the commissioning and the smooth implementation of new equipment and process solution.

5. Perform water quality laboratory analysis – previous experience not a pre-requisite

6. Participate in the production of concept design and technical specification and solution for the Water-related Processes and other Facilities.

7. Develop training materials and deliver trainings to the O&M staffs.

8. Support production of technical reports for submission within Veolia.

9. Undertake such other duties and project assignments in Chengde or at locations as directed by the Operations Manager or Executive Management.

Preferred qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in chemical / environmental engineering

- At least 3 years working experience in water treatment or Zero Liquid discharge business

- Experience in process optimization or commissioning

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office

- Fluent Chinese + good level in English, both written and oral
