Senior Accountant

JD Descriptions:

-STAT and Statistical reporting

? Act as a single point of contact during the statutory audit and address auditor questions during audit.

? Prepare audit report and footnotes package for all entities under area of responsibility.

? Prepare and analyze financial statements in advance of audit commencing.

? Prepare journals as required adjusting IFRS management accounts to PRC GAAP statutory accounts.

? Communicate with relevant internal groups and ensure all audit Prepared by Client requirements (PBC) are well-prepared and met the agreed timelines.

? Work with other internal teams and ensure successful audit completion including Legal, Tax, inventory etc

? Prepare reconciliation pack between IFRS & PRC GAAP for management review, respond to review questions etc.

? Manage compliance reporting while ensuring timely filing of all statutory accounts for area of responsibility.

? Prepare analytical reviews for Income Statement and Balance Sheet for all entities under area of responsibility.

? Research significant transactions in year under review to ensure understand business driver & ensure local accounting treatment is correct.

? Participate in feedback loop to other Finance functional teams if consistent issues occur across entities or if significant error transaction is identified.

? Monitor, assess and interpret technical accounting developments within each jurisdiction and work with technical manager with respect to addressing potential impacts to relevant financials.

? Prepare local statistic reporting from each government department monthly and yearly basis.

-Other accounting support

? Payroll accounting support between Accenture and HRM

? Application for any entitled financial subsidies and reginal headquarter certification

? Annual filling for Shanghai and Beijing branch and audit confirmation from externals

? Identify potential areas of process improvement and implement changes if needed.

? ad-hoc project or assignment from leader

Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s degree in accounting (IFRS or PRC)

? +4 years of directly related PRC Audit practice experience CPA is preferred.

? Fluent in English both with oral and written.

? Knowledge in SAP is preferred

? Very Strong understanding of general accounting principles

? Proactive、willing to learn and meet challenge
