Focus on growth areas of HyService (After Market Business) with specific attention on Voith fleet, 3rd party fleet with focus on Turbine, Main Inlet Valves, Generator, Mechanical Balance of plant.
Develop new project business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them to win contracts and achieve the planned KPIs (Order Received, Operating Profit, Sales etc.) and be accountable for business results, market coverage and customer satisfaction for assigned accounts in Laos and Thailand.
Establishing strong customer relationships and maintaining a positive customer experience throughout the entire sales cycle.
Able to understand and explain technical specification of hydro power plants equipment in co-operation with technical teams to potential clients to develop service and modernization business opportunities.
Build database of existing plants and customers, Engineer, EPC contractors, agents / channel partners, vendors.
Create and identify opportunities through regular customer visits, cold calls and attending events.
Develop sales proposals in close collaboration with Operating Units as per customer request.
Discuss and negotiate orders / contracts with the customer.
Project management tasks associated with sales and delivery of solutions.
Reporting according to the internal formats, updating MIS.
Assist the respective manager and OU on the project acquisition plan.
Provide market intel for proposal team to update Sales Force on regular and timely basis.
Requirements:
A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / CI engineering.
5-8 Years of experience in sales of power plant and equipment services, preferably in hydro.
Have basic knowledge of products/services,such as turbine, generators, MIV, BOP, control systems, maintenance and repair, upgrade, etc.
Experience of handling large key accounts such as EDL, IPP / EPC.
Combination of hydro technical knowledge and sales expertise.
Should have skills to solve complex issues and drive solutions amicably. Analytical decision maker who is capable of making timely decisions with occasionally incomplete information.
Frequent travelling to hydro project sites and working in dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Good English and Laotian or Thai language command.
Computer Knowledge and skills: MS Office, Scheduling.
Knowledge of basic computer skills like setup IP, MS software, Remote connection setup over Anydesk, MS teams, Team viewer etc.
Existing working relations with relevant asset owners / Engineer / IPP / EPC and staff is valued.
Be a self-starter and able to manage sales process independently and remotely.
