Responsibilities:
- Realize Trinas module business objectives in Vietnam/Korea/Australia and Asia Pacific (the area), with primary responsibilities of delivering quarterly sales and contribution targets of the area.
- Develop Module sales and marketing strategies and executional plans for such emerging markets, with penetration and growth tactics to help establish Trinas market leadership and brand awareness in these new markets;
- Identify, generate, maintain and further develop relationships with key customers in these markets, such as owners/developers, EPCs, consultants, and other partners and stakeholders in PV industry;
- Monitor tender opportunities; develop, manage and grow the pipeline of sales opportunities which would be turned into sales achievements each quarter, in different segment such as utility, commercial and residential;
- Lead and manage a team of sales team to develop the country specific sales strategies to achieve the quarterly and annual sales target;
- Maintain close relationship and communication with key customers to understand their needs in terms of technical, financial, logistic and marketing support, and being able to influence and collaborate with HQ or regional functional teams to realize such requirements to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction while maximize Trinas business interests.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry associations, local government related department, potential project investors and banks, and other key industry players besides direct customers;
- Manage entire sales/order process for the area, from forecasting to product availability lead times, delivery and payment collection for all the key accounts, staying in close contact both with customers and the companys related internal departments. Able to close the deals and complete the order;
- Report directly to regional head (Asia Pacific ), and be able to provide regular market updates and sales reports;
- Manage the team to focus on result delivery with sales target/KPIs set up for each individual team member;
- Stay up to date with market information, including competiters and customers benchmarking; Work closely with Marketing and Product Management teams to optimize marketing activities and product launches in the area.
Requirements:
- Master or Bachelors Degree in electrical, power or related field;
- Minimum 5 years previous experience with similar business development or sales role in solar business;
- Understand Vietnam/Korea/Australia or Asia PV market dynamics and industry trend;
- Sales management experience and capable of leading a diversified team with different culture and in multiple locations;
- Extensive experience in tender preparation, contract review and negotiation, account management, deal closure, etc;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to manage different stakeholders both internally and externally;
- Experience in account management and development;
- Ability to work under pressure and able to manage conflicts and ambiguities
