Assistant Manager, Energy Management

岗位职责:

BASF is currently building a new Verbund site in Zhanjiang, Guangdong province. Announced in July 2018 and officially commenced in November 2019, BASF Zhanjiang Verbund Site Project would be BASF’s largest investment with up to US$10 billion upon completion and would be operated under the sole responsibility of BASF. BASF Zhanjiang Verbund site would ultimately be the third-largest BASF site worldwide, and will be built into a role model for smart manufacturing and sustainable production by utilizing the latest digital technologies and applying the highest safety standards.


Main Tasks


- Associate with EHS and Permitting Team to finish the EA in project execution phase and work out the annual energy report of BIG site after project start-up.

- Formulate daily, weekly fuel plan according to the production plan and communicate to fuel suppliers timely.

- Authorize the company long-term & annual energy saving plan and supervise the implementation.

- Formulate energy management system and energy consumption assessment system according to national and local energy laws and regulations.

- Responsible for the formulation and revision of energy consumption assessment economic indicators.

- Responsible for the collection and review of energy-saving rationalization proposals.

- Responsible for organizing efficiency test, energy balance and energy audit of critical energy using equipment in the company.

- Responsible for the acquisition, balance and statistics of energy measurement among plants within the site, and the submission of energy consumption data.

- Report energy statistics, energy consumption analysis and regular energy consumption summary to production management and finance department.

- Hold energy-saving analysis meeting regularly, make systematic analysis and comment on the economic indicators of energy conservation and the completion of energy conservation work, issue analysis report, find out existing problems, put forward improvement measures, and carry out corresponding assessment and evaluation work.

- Audit the regular calibration for energy metering instrumentation.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree of Engineering, chemical engineering and energy engineering are preferable.

- Proficient in relevant IT tools (MS office).

- 5 years above Professional experience in petrochemical/chemical plants on process or production.

- Excellent data statistics ability and analytical skills.

- Good communication ability among BIG clusters internally and local administration externally.
